NUBA joins, one more year, the wonderful work of Solidarity Xmas Tree, the Christmas event that unites luxury, creativity and social commitment.
The inauguration of the Solidarity Xmas Tree Route took place on November 19, marking the beginning of a unique week in Madrid, in which the most select brands in the world of luxury presented their exclusive Christmas creations.
After a magical few days, Solidarity Xmas Tree 2024 culminated last night, November 26, with a spectacular closing gala at the Teatro Real in Madrid.
A Tree that Inspires Warmth and Authenticity
During the week of November 19-25, we welcomed a unique solidarity tree, designed in collaboration with renowned chef Samantha Vallejo-Nágera, to our NUBA Serrano boutique.
The artwork, decorated with mini gold bulbs and accented with a vibrant red color, captured the homey and authentic essence of Christmas with a unique and personal touch.
The most striking feature of the tree were the details that reflected Samantha’ s culinary universe -small plates, rolling pins, croissants and sacks of pasta- that were harmoniously integrated into the design, turning the tree into a tribute to gastronomy and the warmth of shared moments.
The NUBA tree in collaboration with Samantha Vallejo-Nágera has thus become one of the most admired pieces of the edition.
United Against Unwanted Loneliness
This year, Solidarity Xmas Tree has focused its efforts on combating a problem that affects millions of people: unwanted loneliness, which particularly affects two vulnerable groups, the elderly and hospitalized children without resources.
Thanks to this initiative, the funds raised will go entirely to the Grandes Amigos ONG and Mamás en Acción foundations, who work tirelessly to provide companionship, support, care and hope to those who need it most.
Charity Gala at the Teatro Real
The closing gala of SXT 2024 was hosted by presenter and model Nieves Álvarez and featured the prestigious auction house Christie’s, which put the exclusive trees created by the participating brands up for grabs.
As every year, all the money raised during the auction has been destined to support the work of the two foundations chosen this year -FundaciónGrandes Amigos and Fundación Mamás en Acción-, in a celebration of solidarity with those who need it most.
We are also pleased to announce that the NUBA tree designed by Samantha Vallejo-Nágera found a new home thanks to the generosity of its buyer, who was presented with an unforgettable experience: 6 nights at the prestigious Capella Hotels, recognized in 2024 as the best hotel chain in the world.
The award included 3 nights atCapella Bangkok, a luxury retreat by the Chao Phraya River, awarded as the best hotel in the world in 2024, and 3 nights at Patina Maldives, a jewel nestled in the paradise of the Indian Ocean.
