NUBA Art, focused on creating specialized trips and experiences<\/strong> around contemporary art<\/strong> and culture<\/strong>, has organized an exclusive event<\/strong> for a select group of guests, who had the opportunity to see, first hand, the private collection<\/strong> located in the home-studio of renowned artist Mateo Mat\u00e9.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The event, created in collaboration with Huntress of Art<\/h2>\n

-the independent art consultancy for major Spanish architectural firms, private and corporate clients, directed by <\/span>Sara Zaldivar<\/strong>-, was a <\/span>private meeting<\/strong> for some of NUBA’s most important clients, true art lovers. <\/span>art lovers<\/strong>the renowned artist opened the doors of his home to offer a private tour of the <\/span>private tour<\/strong> to his collection and even a small preview <\/span>preview<\/em> to what will be his next art project.<\/span><\/p>\n

Upon arrival, attendees had the opportunity to enter Mateo Mat\u00e9’s studio<\/strong>, located inside his own home; a long corridor divides the spectacular space between the artist’s private residence and his workplace.<\/p>\n

The works and the contemporary art are perfectly integrated throughout the house, and one of the author’s hallmarks <\/strong>is his self-described “domestic nationalism<\/em>“, with which he combines elements of everyday life with art<\/strong> – resulting in such interesting pieces as a dining table<\/strong> with the silhouette of Europe<\/strong> or a curious stove in the shape of Spain<\/strong>, among many others.<\/p>\n

After a unique<\/strong> tour of the studio, led by Mat\u00e9, who masterfully explained<\/strong> his works<\/strong> to the small group of guests, they were fortunate enough to also visit<\/strong> the artist’s residence<\/strong>, a great work of art in itself.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Once the visit was over, there was still one last surprise for our clients<\/strong>: in the main hall of the studio area awaited a unique experience<\/strong> in which to combine some of the most appreciated elements of our gastronomy<\/strong> – ham and wine – with the world of art<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In an exclusive tasting at<\/strong> the Emilio Moro Winery<\/strong>, attendees were able to enjoy some of the best wines of the firm, as well as learn about its history full of “good work” and tradition; All this was accompanied by a tasting of ham<\/strong> offered by Casa Lucas<\/strong> and sliced by Florencio Sanchidri\u00e1n<\/strong> -recognized as the best international Ham Slicer and designated World Ambassador of Iberian Ham by the International Academy of Gastronomy- who showed us with his mastery that every discipline taken to excellence is an art in itself.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
